Change a sales quotation

  1. Select the Work with sales quotations menu item.
  2. On the main panel, select the applicable sales quotation and click the Lines option.
  3. You access Work with sales quotations, Quotation lines.

    4. Add changes to quotation line

    To change a quotation line, do as follows:

    1. Highlight the applicable line and click the Change option.
    2. On the Work with sales quotation, Quotation line, Main info panel, make your changes and click OK to save the information. You return to Work with sales quotations, Quotation lines.

    Change address

    To change address information, do as follows:

    1. Click Addresses to view your customer’s address information. The system displays your customer’s default address information from the Business partner file. If your customer requests that the quotation be sent to an alternate address you have two options from which to choose when changing the address:
      • If you have several customer addresses on record in the customer’s Address file, then enter the customer address number in the first field and click OK. The system will retrieve the address information.
      • To add an address that is not in the customer’s Address file enter 999 in the first field and an address in the adjacent text fields. Note: If you enter a new address it will not be appended to the customer’s Address file. It will only be used for this particular quotation.
    2. Click OK when you have finished either viewing the address information or entering a new address.
    3. You return to Work with sales quotations, Quotation lines.

    Change quotation header

    To change quotation header information, do as follows:

    1. Click Header to access quotation header information.
    2. The system displays the information that was defined for your customer in the Business partner file. You can change all the information that is displayed with one exception:
      3. Currency
      This information was entered at the start of the quotation entry process. Only one type of currency can be used per quotation transaction.

      Note: If you set the Quotation type field to the code for contract (indicating that the quotation will eventually become a contract) you must also validate the contract with start and end dates.

    3. Click OK to update and exit the routine.
