The purpose of this program is to activate routines for authority control within the selected authority group.

Selection fields
- Routine
- This column lists the routines for which authority control is being implemented on authority group level.
- Description
- This column lists the description of the routines.
- Secured
- This column indicates if the routine is secured (i.e. if the Authority check control program is to check the authority for a user that has access to the selected routine and authority group).
Work with authority groups, Routines (ASGD25304)
On this panel you activate the routines for authority control within the selected authority group.
- Authority group
- Displays the selected authority group.
- Routine
- The routine must exist in Work with authority routines.
- Description
- The description is retrieved from Work with authority routines.
- Secured
- Indicate if the Authority check control program is to check the authority for a user that has access to the selected routine and authority group.
Note: The authority check control will handle any existing routines not defined in this file, as if the code for Secured is set to NO. During the setup of the control function, the code for NO is useful until the setup is completed.
Note: The flag is set to YES if the Authority group has the Default value set to 3, which means that the authority table is used to maintain object security using iSeries object security.

- Displays the routine you selected to copy.
- New routine
- Enter a code to identify the new routine you are creating.
