Order line details can be changed for any line in any Smart sales order entry mode. You would use this function to change some details for the order line you want to book. To exemplify this procedure, the details that can be changed for an order line are described for Previous order mode.
- Select the Work with sales order menu item and go to the Order lines panel.
- On the Order lines panel, click Smart order entry.
- You access Smart sales order entry, Prev order. Mark the line for which you want to change the details and click Det.
- You access the order line details. The following fields can be changed:
- Whs
- Quantity
- Unit
- Disp
- The dispatch date for this order line.
- Req
- The requested dispatch date for this order line.
- FOC
- Set to YES if this order line is to be delivered free-of-charge.
- Batch
- Eng
- If this is a Service order line, enter the engineer code which connects this item and labour to the specified engineer.
- Price
- The sales price for the line. This must be entered if you enter data in the Disc amount or Disc % fields.
- Gross margin
- Displays the gross margin with the existing price. You can change the margin and the price will change accordingly.
- Disc ID
- Enter a discount ID. This field is mandatory if either the Disc amount or Disc % fields are used.
- Disc amount
- The discount amount, per unit, to be allowed on the order line.
- Disc %
- The discount percentage(s) to be allowed on the order line.
- OT
- If this order line should create a BtB (Back to Back) order line, enter the BtB purchase order type. Note: This field cannot be used for cash sales, IRO’s and any sales order attached to a production BtB order type.
Mix types of lines
The OT field allows you to mix different types of order lines per order. This means you can have normal order lines as well as transit and/or direct delivered BtB order lines on the same order. You can enter the following information:
