Capacity clearance enquiry, Op times in decimal/minutes (PRO023G)

The purpose of this program is to view capacity clearance details for a selected operation.

Function keys

Workload View the workload details.
Minutes/Decimals Toggle between hours and minutes and hours and decimals for the operation times.

Operation time
The operation time that is used for workload planning.
Work c on higher lvl
This field is only displayed if you are on a lower level item structure. Indicates if the operation’s work centre exists somewhere else in another item structure on a higher level within this enquiry. If this field is set to YES, capacity shortage calculation will not be executed for the selected operation. Shortage is only checked on the highest level. Operation time for the current viewed operation will however be included when performing the capacity control.
Workl to compl date
The total existing workload for the operation’s work centre up to the operation’s planned completion date.
Critical resource
Indicates if the work centre is defined as a critical resource. It is possible to only check for capacity shortage for those resources that are defined as critical.
Cap to compl date
The total available capacity from today’s date to planned completion date.
Restriction group
This field is only displayed for critical resources for which a restriction group has been used for the operation/work centre planning. The restriction group that was used in the calculation of available time for the operation/work centre.
Shortage code
The code indicates if shortage exists for the operation. If there is any shortage, an asterisk is displayed next to the operation that is most critical, i.e. that has the highest number of shortage days.

Valid codes are:

Code Description
0 No capacity problems
1 Capacity shortage
2 Tool shortage
3 Both capacity shortage and tool shortage exist for the operation.
Calc completion date
This field is only displayed if there is a shortage. Displays the calculated date where there is capacity to cover the required operation time, provided that there is a shortage (i.e. planned completion date added with number of shortage days, taking into consideration only working days according to the work centre’s calendar).
Shortage days
This field is only displayed if there is a shortage. This is the number of days, starting from the planned completion date, it will take until there is enough capacity to cover the required operation time (provided that there is a shortage).
Workl to calc compl
This field is only displayed if there is a shortage. This is the total existing workload for the operation’s work centre up to the calculated completion date.
Temporary workload
This field is only displayed if there is a shortage. This is the total required operation time for the displayed work centre. Operation time for the current viewed record is subtracted from this total. Information in this field is normally only displayed if lower level structure is calculated. (The work centre exists in more than one item structure.)
Cap to calc compl
This field is only displayed if there is a shortage. This is the total available capacity from today’s date to the calculated completion date.
