The purpose of this program is to view capacity clearance either for a selected item or a manufacturing order. If the clearance is made for an item, the operation planning is made as a forward planning starting from today’s date. The purpose is also to find out when it is possible to deliver a requested item and quantity (if the production starts today). The best date for production and delivery is displayed.

- The operation time that is used for workload planning.
- Cap date
- The first date where capacity exists to cover the needed operation time. This is only calculated if shortage exists. If only critical resources should be handled, this date will be blank even though there might be a shortage of capacity.

- The code indicates if shortage exists for the operation. Note: If there is any shortage, an asterisk is displayed next to the operation that is most critical, i.e. that has the highest number of shortage days.
