This program carries out the following two tasks:
- Mass inactivation of SMS agreement headers: All active SMS agreement headers, whose detail records all have to-dates before the defined valid-dates on the start-up panel, will be inactivated unless SMS rebate transactions are created for the agreement and these transactions are not yet final (sales order invoiced). An inactivated SMS agreement will have the following impact on the system:
- New SMS rebate transactions will never be created for an inactivated SMS agreement.
- SMS rebate transactions that are created for a sales quotation line will also be connected to the quotation line for an inactivated agreement. If the quotation line is changed, then this SMS rebate transaction will disappear.
- SMS agreements that are the basis for preliminary SMS rebate transactions that are created for sales order lines will not be inactivated in the reorganisation routine. This will, however, be possible in the Work with SMS agreements routine. If a SMS agreement is inactivated, these preliminary transactions will disappear when the sales order line is invoiced.
- It is possible to inactivate agreements that are the basis for final SMS rebate transactions. It will still be possible to claim these transactions.
- Reorganisation: Deletion of all SMS agreement headers that are valid for deletion according to the start-up definitions. This routine will also delete detail records that are OK to delete according to the defined dates, even though the actual header may be kept. This means that a SMS agreement header may be empty (i.e. have no attached details records). Deletion of empty agreement headers is also possible from this routine.
Note: You can choose to perform one of the tasks or both.
