This panel displays the application codes and corresponding descriptions that have been set up in your system. Only installed applications are displayed. You can activate or deactivate applications.
Note: You cannot activate an application that is not installed, and you cannot deactivate applications that are mandatory.
Scroll to view all established codes. You can print the contents from the Table printout program selection list program.
Options
Activate | Select this option to activate an application for the company you are maintaining. |
Deactivate | Select this option to deactivate an application for the company you are maintaining. |
DB library | Select this option to maintain the library parameters for a database application for the company you are maintaining. |
Mnt program | Only displayed if the selected application has a maintenance program defined in the Application definition table. Call the application control file maintenance program. If you, for example, are maintaining the DC1 Distribution application, the DIS control file will be called. |
Functions | Only displayed if the company for which you have selected applications is the same as the actual company. Select this option to view and work with function controls for the application of the company you are maintaining. |
Function keys
Show active/inactive/all | Toggle to view only active, inactive or all applications. The panel sub-heading indicates the selected mode. |
Selection fields
- Company code
- Displays the selected company.
- App code
- This column lists the application codes that have been set up in your system.
- Description
- This column lists the corresponding application code descriptions.
- Status
- This column denotes if the application is active or inactive.
- Mandatory
- This column denotes if the application is mandatory or not.
- Functions exist
- This column denotes if functions exist for the application.
Work with companies, Application definitions (ASGD94004)
This panel displays the application you are about to activate/inactivate or for which you want to establish library parameters.
- Company code
- Displays the selected company.
- Application
- Displays the application for the selected company.
- Company file library
- Only displayed if the Data base in appl field is set to YES on the selected application in the Application definition table. Enter the name of the library where the database files for the selected company and application are to be stored. The defaulted library name is a concatenation of the release level entered for the company and “F” and the company code.
Example: Entered release level was SE:800A and the company code is DV, then the default library name will be SE800AFDV.
- Common file library
- Only displayed if the Data base in appl field is set to YES on the selected application in the Application definition table. Enter the library name where the database files that are to be shared between the selected company and other companies are stored.
