Print shop floor documents for several manufacturing orders

You can either order the printout from the Work with manufacturing orders routine or via a batch job. Note: Shop floor documents can only be printed for manufacturing orders at status 10.

Note: If Direct print of shop floor documents is set to YES for the order type in the Manufacturing order type table, the shop floor documents will be printed automatically after the creation of a manufacturing order.

Order printout from Work with manufacturing orders

  1. Select the Work with manufacturing orders menu item.
  2. You access Work with manufacturing order. Click the Print order doc function key to start the function for manufacturing order shop floor document printout.
  3. You access Manufacturing order document selection. Complete the following field:
  4. Date to for printing
    Enter a date. Manufacturing orders with an earlier planned start date than the selected will be printed.

    Tip: Use the selection fields to narrow down the selection of orders to be included in the shop floor document printout.

    Click OK. The shop floor documents have been printed and the manufacturing order status is changed to 20. Exit the routine.

Order printout from batch job

  1. Select the Work with reports/jobs – MFG orders menu item.
  2. You access Work with batch jobs. Select PRT_MODOC and click Submit job.
  3. You access Manufacturing order document printout. Complete the following field:
  4. Date to for printing
    Enter a date. Manufacturing orders with an earlier planned start date than the selected will be printed.
    Tip: Use the selection fields to narrow down the selection of orders to be included in the shop floor document printout.

    Click OK. The shop floor documents are printed and the manufacturing order status is changed to 20. Exit the routine.
