The following describes how to view a message’s action proposal. There are two types of messages that you can receive:
Type | Description |
---|---|
1 | Messages including actions of this type contain only an action proposal, meaning you are not able to perform any actions via the message that you have received. You will, however, be offered a suggestion of what action to take. |
2 | Messages including actions of this type contain an action proposal, as well, but are also able to call another program through which you can perform an action. |
Note: These instructions will make use of a message of type 2.
- Select the Work with AMT messages menu item.
- You access the main panel. Select the applicable message and click Actions.
- On the Work with message actions panel, select the applicable action and click Display to see its action proposal.
- You access the second Work with message actions panel. The following field applies:
- Action proposal
- The suggested action that you now take is indicated in this field.
- On the Work with messages panel, select the applicable message and click Accept.
- On the Work with messages, Reply panel, click OK to confirm that you have read and accepted the message. This is then deleted. The action will now need to be performed manually. See Perform a message action for instructions.
Exit the routine.
Once you have read and understood this message, you may now mark it as “accepted”.
