Selection fields
Dimension SET definition maintenance (ASTD1304)
The purpose of the Dimension sets is to be able to define account structure and generate Account part dependant objects at any time. The account definition is not connected to company generation. This gives you possibility to setup account structure and generate account part dependant objects without having to generate a company. When generating a company you will be forced to enter a Dimension set that is going to be used. At this point you can change the description of the account parts, if desired.
Note: This enables you to re-use the Dimension sets for, not only different companies, but also for multiple installations.
Note: Valid Dimension sets are 1 to 9. Dimension set number 0 is the base dimension set, meaning the account part dependant objects default, as they are compiled at DC1 PD.

Create account part dependent objects/dim set (ASTD1305)
On this panel you are able to start the actual creation of Dimension dependant objects. The entries in the Dimension dependant object table (SRODDO) will be compiled into a specific library.
Note: The library names that are displayed depends on what life cycle you are generating for. For example, when generating dimension set 1 for life cycle Development (D) and release XXX600A, the library name will be XXX600AD1.
Note: To be able to fully utilise this possibility, you must make sure that Dimension dependant object table is updated, i.e. run Create account part dependant object table from the INSTALL menu.
- Dimension set code
- Displays the selected Dimension set number. Note: Dimension set 0 is reserved for DC1 Base.
- Action mode
- Enter the mode in which the process should be run. Valid entries are:
1 = Add. Only objects that are not already compiled will be processed.
2 = Replace. All objects including FRFDIM will be re-compiled.
