In this panel you define the different business entities, e.g., items, business partners (customers/suppliers), assets, etc., within DC1. This information is used in the Work with database definitions routine to collect Physical files that relate to a specific business entity. This information can be used for analysis purposes of system documentation on a higher level. Example: You want to be able to analyze all PF’s that relate to a Sales order (be it on order header and/or line level).
You can add, change or delete records. You can also print the contents in the table from the Table printout program selection list program.

- Business entity
- This column lists the unique codes of the business entities.
- Description
- This column lists the descriptions of the corresponding business entities.
- Subset key number
- Displays the key number value of the subset of the corresponding business entity.
- Identity
- This column lists the identities of the corresponding business entities.
- PTF level
- This column lists the PTF levels of the corresponding business entities.
- Modification number
- This column lists the modification numbers of the corresponding business entities.
- Change date
- This column lists the change dates of the corresponding business entities.

On this panel you define a new business entity, change the description and delete an existing entity.

- For new entries, enter the subset to which the panel value belongs. For existing entries, displays the name of the subset to which the panel value belongs.

Work with business entities, Copy (ASTD19105)
- Business entity
- Displays the business entity(ies) you selected to copy.
- New business entity
- Enter the new business entity that you are creating.
