Create an internal replenishment suggestion manually (DC1 Inventory Control)

  1. Select the Work with internal replenishment suggestions menu item.
  2. On the Work with internal repl suggestions, Headers panel, click Add.
  3. You access the detail panel. Complete the following fields:
    4. Suggestion number
    Enter a suggestion number. If this field is left blank, then the system will automatically retrieve the next available number from Work with number series.
    Description
    Enter a description of the new record.
    From warehouse
    Enter a code from Work with warehouses indicating the warehouse from which the goods are to be transported.
    Manner of transport
    Enter a code from Work with manners of transport indicating the manner in which the goods will be transported.
    Handler
    Enter the ID of the person responsible for the selected internal replenishment suggestion.

    Click OK. Exit the routine.

    What to do next?
    You can now maintain the internal replenishment suggestion:

    • You can change, add or delete suggestion lines.
    • You can change the sequence of the line numbers. They will be re-sequenced in item order.
    • You can apply fair share handling to the suggestion lines. This is used to define a new quantity of a selected item that you are to deliver from and to a warehouse. The new quantity is based on the available quantity.
    • You can transfer the line to another IR suggestion, or to a purchase suggestion. See About transferring replenishment suggestions (DC1 Inventory Control) for more information.
