Backup restore (ASGD1321)

In this program, company libraries can be restored. Restore can only be performed if the data on the media has been saved in the Execute backup/reorganisation program.

The program first reads the table of contents on the media. Then a panel with saved companies will be displayed, where you can select which company or companies you want to restore.

The last panel displayed lists the libraries connected to the selected company/companies, where you also can select which libraries you want to restore.

If there is a library with the same name as a library selected to restore in the system, the old library will be renamed. If the existing library name was, for example A700AF01 (where 01 is the company code), after the renaming the name will be X700AF01. This means that the A will be exchanged to an X.

If there are libraries in the system with both the name A700AF01 and X700AF01 (note X), and you are trying to restore a library with the name A700AF01, the system will rename the existing A700AF01 library to Y700AF01, etc.
