In this program you translate key values in tables into different languages. The key values could also be translated by clicking Translate in those table maintenance programs containing values regarding external documents, such as terms of payment, terms of delivery, etc.
The translated values are used when printing external documents, to get correct language for the key values. In the Business partner file the user defines in what language the customers’ and suppliers’ external documents are to be printed.
The DC1 system supports the following languages on external documents; Danish (DA), German (DE), English (EN), Finnish (FI), French (FR), Norwegian (NO) and Swedish (SW).
- Table file
- Enter the table file name. SROCTLSE is an example of a table file name, in this case the Currency table.
- Table key value
- Enter the table key value. DEM is an example of a table key value in the Currency table.
- Field
- Enter the table field name. CTCNAM is an example of a table field name, in this case in the Currency table.
- Language
- Displays the language codes from the Language table.
- Translated value
- Enter the translated text for each language code. The symbol ยค represents the maximum number of characters, which means you can only write text to the left of this symbol.
