Cost model
This field is only displayed if DC1 Manufacturing is installed and activated. The code from the Cost model table indicates the cost model that should be used for the pricing when a product costing is performed for configurable items. Note: The value in this field overrides the value that has been defined in the MFG control file.
Cost model MDC
This field is only displayed if DC1 Manufacturing and DC1 Multi Distribution Centre (MDC) are installed and activated. The code from the Cost model table indicates the cost model that should be used for the pricing when a product costing is performed for an MDC sales order in a demanding company. Using this field you can define an alternative cost model with additional margin/mark-up of cost. Note: For MDC sales order configurations in a demanding company, the configurator tables (including the CFG control file and the Cost model table) from the supplying company are used. Note: The value in this field overrides the value that has been defined in the MFG control file.

This field is only displayed if DC1 paper is installed and activated and is used during the item creation functionality (via the Select item panel) when you copy an originally purchased item to create a new configurator variant.
