Make an enquiry on G/L transactions

Note: You can only make enquiries on transactions that have been updated into the G/L. Transactions belonging to journal maintenance and temporarily interrupted batches are not included.

  1. Select the G/L transactions enquiry program.
  2. You access the first of three panels in the program with the last used template defaulted. The following fields are relevant:

    Select the template you want to use to make an enquiry on A/R transactions.
    From – To values
    In the fields on the bottom part of the panel you can enter the range, From – To, of values to include in the selection. Leave the fields blank if you want to include all values.

    Tip: You can add, change or delete selection and sequence values on this panel. Click Save as template if you want to save the template with the changes directly as a new or an existing template. You can click Print to get a list of the transactions that you have entered in the selection. Here, click OK.

  4. You access G/L transaction enquiry with a listing of all documents that have been selected, sorted in ascending order. If you click Selections you can change the selections made on the G/L transaction enquiry panel by entering new or different selection criteria in the selection fields. Tip: Use option G/L text to maintain or add text for the document. Here, select a record and click Display to view the record.
  5. You access G/L transaction enquiry with detailed information for the selected transaction. When ready, click OK.
  6. You access G/L transaction enquiry again, where you can select a different document or go back to the previous panel to enter a new enquiry on the G/L transaction enquiry panel. Or, exit the routine.
