This panel displays the requests for quote that exist in the Request for quote file.
A request for quote is meant to be sent to one or several suppliers, requiring information about:
- the supplier’s price for an item
- possible dispatch date from the supplier
The request for quote contains one or several items. It can be created via the Create request for quote or Work with request for quote menu items.
From this program you can also view any quotations or price catalogues retrieved from the suppliers.
Options
RFQ header | Select this option to view a record. |
Supplier quot | Select this option to view any received supplier quotations. |
Supplier | Select this option to view the suppliers to which the request should be sent. Use this option if you want to view any received quotations/price catalogues. |
Lines | Select this option to view items requested. |
Int. txt | Select this option to view internal text on the request. The internal text is not printed on any document. |
Ext. txt | Select this option to view external text on the request. External text is printed above the item lines on the RFQ document. |
Selection fields
Supplier quotation enquiry, Request for quote header details (DIR57704)
This panel displays the header information for the RFQ you selected on the previous panel.
Function keys
Internal text | View internal text for the RFQ header. The internal text is not printed on any document. |
External text | View external text for the RFQ header. External text is printed above the item lines on the RFQ document. |
- RFQ number
- Displays the RFQ number.
- Handler
- Displays the handler of the RFQ.
- Req. reply-by date
- Displays the requested reply-by date which tells the supplier that you want his reply (his quotation) at the latest this date.
- Creation date
- Displays the creation date for the RFQ.
- Warehouse
- Displays a warehouse code, if a warehouse was defined when the RFQ was created.
Note: The value displayed in this field was defined when the RFQ was created.
