In this panel you classify the different types of fields in DC1. An example could be how the fields are updated (Manually updated, Calculated) and what type of field it is (System amount, balance values). This information is used in the Work with database definitions, Fields in files routine.
You can add, change or delete records. You can also print the contents in the panel from the Table printout program selection list program.

Selection fields
- Field class
- This column lists the unique codes of the existing field classes.
- Description
- This column lists the descriptions of the corresponding field classes.
- Subset key number
- This column lists the key number values of the subsets of the corresponding field classes.
- Identity
- This column lists the identities of the corresponding field classes.
- PTF level
- This column lists the PTF levels of the corresponding field classes.
- Modification number
- This column lists the modification numbers of the corresponding field classes.
- Change date
- This column lists the change dates of the corresponding field classes.
Work with field classes (ASTD19204)
On this panel you can define new field classes, change the description for existing ones and delete existing records.

- For new entries, enter the subset to which the panel value belongs. For existing entries, displays the name of the subset to which the panel value belongs.

Work with field classes, Copy (ASTD19205)
- Field class
- Displays the field class(es) you selected to copy.
- New field class
- Enter the new field class that you are creating.
