This panel displays all objects that are not assigned to a certain preventive service type. The information is retrieved from the Object file and the Preventive service object file. By selecting the Assign option you can assign objects to the preventive service type.
Note: The following files will be updated when you assign objects to a preventive service type:
- Preventive service object file
- Preventive service calendar file
- Object history file

The entries on this panel are used to specify conditions of preventive service for the service object. Note: If the service object is connected to a tool and the specified service type is used as Service type calibration, the start date, service interval and service period will not be used to calculate the calendar events for the Preventive service calendar file. A service order will be created automatically when the calibration point is reached for the tool.
- Service interval
- Enter the service interval for the object in weeks. If not entered, the default service interval for the preventive service type will be used.
- Service period
- Enter the service period for the object in weeks. If not entered, the default service period for the preventive service type will be used.
- Start date
- Indicate the start date from which the period of preventive service will start. If not entered, today’s date will be used.
- Next inspection date
- Enter the next inspection date for the object. If not entered, it will be calculated according to: Start date + service interval.
- Recommended kit
- Enter a code from the Recommended kit table, indicating the action that needs to be taken for the object. When the preventive service order is generated, the system will retrieve the information defined in the kit to the order job and order lines.
- Order type
- Enter a type from the Sales order type table. Order type must be a service order type. If not entered, the default order type for the preventive service type will be used. The order type is updated to the new service order in the preventive service order generation.
- Engineer
- Enter a code from the Engineer table, indicating the engineer responsible for the object. Engineer is defaulted to the service order job in service order generation.
- Spare part warehouse
- Enter a code from the Warehouse table, indicating the spare part warehouse. Warehouse is defaulted to the service order header in preventive service order generation.
