Calendar file maintenance, Months (GDMD1651)

This panel displays every month for all the years that have been generated in the calendar. Per month, a workday overview is displayed to the right on the panel. An asterisk (*) means that the day is a working day, blank means non-working day. The description of the months is retrieved from the Description field in the Month description table.

When entering the panel, the first month of the current year is displayed on the top of the panel.

Function keys

Update from defaults Update the calendar with default values defined in the Calendar ID table. You will return to the menu and a job will be started, updating the calendar.

Note: This job will besides re-creating the calendar, update the relative day numbers in the Order files and in the Manual orders and reservation file, as well as rebuild the Time axis file.

Regret deletion Only displayed if the calendar has been marked for deletion. Cancel the deletion.
Delete Mark the calendar for deletion. When you exit this routine, a job will be started, removing the calendar.

Note: This function key is not displayed when maintaining the default calendar (*DFT), since it is not allowed to delete this calendar.

Note: You cannot delete a calendar that is referred to in any of the following files:

  • Work with companies
  • A/P system payment mode table in DC1 Financials.
  • DC1 Manufacturing control file
  • Work center table in DC1 Manufacturing

Selection fields

Year
Displays the year.
Month
Displays the month and the description of the month, retrieved from the Month description table.

The hyphens (-) in this column headline, represent one day in the month. Figure 1 represents day number 10, figure 2 represents day number 20 and figure 3 day number 30.

An asterisk (*) below a hyphen means that this specific day in the month is a working day. No asterisk means non-working day.

Note: Day 1 in a month is below the sign ‘<' and day 31 is below the sign '>‘.
