These entries are used to revaluate replacement and insurance values for your assets. When entering insurance value and replacement value for an asset in the Asset file, you indicate also an index and an initial period for the original value. When printing a revaluation list, the original value will be recalculated based on the revaluation period. Note that these new values do not update the Asset file; they are only information that you may act upon.

- Enter the year for which the index is being defined.
- Description
Period name JAN-DEC
Enter the index value for each period of the year. If you leave a field blank, then the index for that period will be zero. The period names are retrieved from the G/L control file if DC1 Financials is installed, and only the normal periods are displayed. Note that indices do not handle negative amounts. Base value is normally 100, and not 0. If you have decreasing index values, you can then go below 100.

- Displays the index(es) you selected to copy.
- Year
- Displays the year for which the index(es) you selected to copy is defined.
- New index
- Enter a code to identify the new index you are creating.
- New year
- Enter a year for which the new index should be defined.
