Work with surcharge codes (DIR04604)
From this panel the parameters that are used in the surcharge calculation are defined.
Note: If this panel has been accessed in Display mode, existing information for this panel can only be viewed and cannot be changed.
Note: This field is only displayed if you have selected the option to attach an item to the surcharge code.
- Item/Unit
- Note: This field is only displayed if you have selected the option to attach an item and unit combination to the surcharge code. Enter a code and unit for the item as defined in the Item file.
- Package type
- Note: This field is only displayed if you have selected the option to attach a package type to the surcharge code. Enter a code from the Package type table indicating the package type to attach to the surcharge.
- Weight
- Enter the weight factor of the surcharge related to the item, item/unit or package. For example, enter the amount inner packaging material measured in kilogram required for the item, item/unit or package. Note: The value that is entered in this field will be used by the Price/weight parameter (defined on the Work with surcharge codes, (DIR04504) panel) to calculate the price per weight of the item/package.
- Volume
- Enter the volume factor of the surcharge related to the item, item/unit or package. For example, enter the amount inner packaging material measured in liter required for the item, item/unit or package.Note: The value that is entered in this field will be used by the Price/volume parameter (defined in the Work with surcharge codes(DIR04504) panel) to calculate the price per volume of the item/package.
- Quantity
- Enter the quantity factor of the surcharge related to the item, item/unit or package. For example, enter the number of air-pads of inner material measured in number required for the item, item/unit or package.
Note: The value that is entered in this field will be used by the Price/quantity parameter (defined in the Work with surcharge codes (DIR04504) panel) to calculate the price per quantity of the item/package that is sold.
