Selection fields
- TOP
- Lists the unique code that identifies the new record.

- Lists the description of the new record.

- Indicates whether the instalment has to be paid.
- Credit days
- Lists the number of days from document date to due date.
- Credit months
- Lists the number of months from document date to due date.
- Break day
- Lists a break day of the month, after which the due date is calculated beginning with the next month.
- Cash on delivery
- Indicates YES if the driver must collect the payment from your customer upon delivering the goods. This information will be printed on the freight document.
- Cash discount 1 days
- This field specifies the number of days that the Cash discount 1 is valid.
- Cash discount 1 %
- Lists the percentage applicable for Cash discount 1, up to three decimals.
- Cash discount 2 days
- This field specifies the number of days that the Cash discount 2 % is valid.
- Cash discount 2 %
- Lists the percentage applicable for Cash discount 2, up to three decimals.
- Cash disc net amount
- Indicates if you want the system to use the invoice net amount as a basis for cash discount calculations.
- Group document
- Indicates if documents with these payment terms can be grouped together in the Work with A/R grouped documents routine.
- Instalment doc type
- Lists the document type from the Document type table which is to be used for the instalment documents. If this field is blank, the user document type defined as a default for the system document type FKN or FLN is used.
- Due date calendar
- Indicates the calendar that is to be used during due date calculation to check if the calculated due date is a working day. If the calculated due date is not a working day, then the next working day is retrieved from this calendar.
Work with terms of payment (GDMD15004)
The entries in this table are used in the Business partner file, to specify the payment conditions for each debtor and supplier. For example, a default due date is calculated from the payment terms, which can be overridden when the order or invoice is entered.

- Credit days
- Enter the number of days from document date to due date. This number is used when you enter documents to calculate the due dates, but the credit period can be changed manually for each document. You can use this field in combination with Credit months.
- Credit months
- Enter the number of months from document date to due date. This number is used when you enter documents to calculate the due dates, but the credit period can be changed manually for each document. You can use this field in combination with Credit days.
- Break day
- Enter a break day of the month, after which the due date is calculated beginning with the next month. For example, if you state 25, an invoice being issued before or on the 25th of a month will have a due date calculated from the previous month change according to the terms you state for credit days and/or months. If the invoice is issued after the 25th, the due date will be calculated from the next month change. This field can only be used if you indicate a number of credit days or credit months, and the credit period must be greater than the number of break days.
To achieve a one month net at the end of the month it is important to state break day to 31, credit month to 1 plus the number of credit days you need. For example, if you have an invoice issued on the 4th of June and you enter 20 credit days, in this case the due date will be calculated to the 20th of July. The result will be the same if you have an invoice issued on 29/06.
- Cash on delivery
- In this field you must specify if the driver must collect the payment from your customer upon delivering the goods. This information will be printed on the freight document.
Note: The calculated amount will be a sum of all order lines including VAT plus any distributed shipment fees. This means that the calculated cash-on-delivery amount will exclude all additional fees that are added during invoicing, such as e.g., order header fees and surcharges.
- Payment mode
- Enter the applicable A/R payment mode for the terms.
- Method of payment
- Note: The EU reporting functionality must be activated. This value is related to the Intrastat declaration routine. Enter the method of payment for the terms.

- Cash discount 1 days
- This field specifies the number of days that the Cash discount 1 is valid for. Payment must be received within this time frame or the discount offer will be rescinded. If you wish to extend this offer for your customer then you can define a number of Grace days in the Business partner file which will allow them to make the payment at a later time.
- Cash discount 1 %
- Enter the percentage applicable for Cash discount 1, using up to three decimals.
- Cash discount 2 days
- This field specifies the number of days that the Cash discount 2 % is valid for. Payment must be received within this time frame or the discount offer will be rescinded. - Enter the percentage applicable for Cash discount 2, using up to three decimals.
- Cash disc net amount
- Set this field to YES if you want the system to use the invoice net amount as a basis for cash discount calculations. Set it to NO if you want to use the gross amount in the calculations. Surcharges are not included in the cash discount base.
Note: If you run DC1 Distribution and you want the cash discount to be calculated from the gross amount, i.e. this field is set to NO, the Cash discount deduct field in the DIS control file also has to be set to NO.
- Group document
- Set this field to YES if documents with these payment terms can be grouped together in the Work with A/R grouped documents routine. If you use define instalment conditions, the entry in this field is ignored.
- Instalment doc type
- Enter the document type from the Document type table which is to be used for the instalment documents. If you leave this field blank, the user document type defined as a default for the system document type FKN or FLN will be used.
- Due date calendar
- Optional entry. Enter the calendar that is to be used during due date calculation to check if the calculated due date is a working day. If the calculated due date is not a working day, then the next working day is retrieved from this calendar.
- Settlement code
- Enter the settlement code to define how you want to settle the cash sales order for your business partner assigned with the selected terms of payment.
Code Settlement Description 1 Settlement not required The sales order can be closed without settling the payments (the normal sales order cycle). 2 Settlement optional The settlement panel will be displayed while closing the order, but payment entry is optional. 3 Settlement required before delivery The settlement panel will be displayed while closing the order, but payment entry is optional. However, settlement must be done before the delivery of goods. 4 Settlement required The sales order cannot be closed without settling the payment. If payment is pending for an order, then you will not be able to exit the sales order until full payment is received.
