In this program you enter and maintain database classes.
Database classes are used to categorise the standard types of Physical files within the standard DC1 database. This information is used in the Work with database definitions routine when adding new objects and also when filtering the types of files you want to work with. This table is pre-loaded with the following database classes in DC1:
Database class | Definition |
---|---|
MASTER | Master file |
SYSTEM | System files |
TABLES | Tables |
TEMP | Temporary files |
TRANS | Transaction files |
WORK | Work files |
