This is where you enter the details for the item matrix templates (i.e. the values and the column headings that will appear in the Item matrix panels for segments 2 and 3).
Options

Selection fields
- Template
- Displays the item matrix template id.
- Seq
- This column lists the sequence for the item matrix template detail. The sequence determines the order in which the template values are displayed on item matrix panels.
- Value
- This column lists the item matrix template value. When matrix items are created from a matrix base item, the template value will end up in the item code.
- Description
- This column lists the description of the item matrix template value.
- Column heading
- This column lists the column headings that will appear in the Item matrix panel during sales and purchase order entry. Column headings for segment 2 values will appear vertically in the item matrix. Column headings for segment 3 values will appear horizontally in the item matrix. The value in this column heading field will also end up in the item description for the matrix items.

- Template
- Displays the item matrix template id.
- Sequence
- This field holds the sequence for the item matrix template detail. When adding a new record, this field is loaded with the last used sequence plus 10. The sequence determines the order in which the template values are displayed on item matrix panels.
- Value
- Enter the item matrix template value. You may enter any value but it cannot be the Search delimiter defined in DIS control file, nor can it contain the ‘ or “ characters. When matrix items are created from a matrix base item, the item matrix template value will end up in the item code.
