This panel is accessed from the Add lines panel when a sales order line is entered for an item that is defined as a parent item within an order structure. That information is defaulted to this panel.
If you accessed this panel in Copy Mode and if the structure type is defined as Changeable in Work with structure types then you can decide whether or not to copy the components to the sales order.
If the EU reporting function is activated, the Nature of transaction and Port of dispatch information defined for the parent item will be defaulted to every component in the order structure. The Commodity code and Country of origin code are retrieved from the Item file.
The Batch entry panel will be displayed for batch controlled items when Select all/All marked lines is pressed for all included components and parent, and the order type is without pick list.
Note: The Batch entry is not displayed if the order is a credit order with pick list, a BtB order or if the sales order type has the Update stock on hand field set to NO.
If a component item in an order structure is defined as having a unique cost per serial number (Main info the Cost type in the Item file is set to 4) then only one sales order line will be created for each serial number, if the quantity of your component is greater than one.
For example:
- if your parent item is made up of four different components that each have serial number costing
- and there is a sales quantity of two per component
then 8 sales order lines will be generated on your sales order.
Note: Structure lines will be handled as transit if DC1 Manufacturing is activated and the line(s) are connected to a manufacturing order. Also note that class 3 items will not call the manufacturing driver for configurator.

Options
| Add | This option is only displayed when the structure type assigned to the parent item is set as changeable in Work with structure types. Select this option to add component lines. |
| Select | This option is only displayed when the structure type assigned to the parent item is set as changeable in Work with structure types. Select this option to select a component line. |
| Exclude | This option is only displayed when the structure type assigned to the parent item is set as changeable in Work with structure types. If a component line has been selected (i.e. the Selection column is set to YES), and you want to regret the selection, use this option. |
Function keys
| Retrieve last pur cost | Retrieve the last purchase cost. Note: This function key is only displayed if the system cost type in the DIS control file is FIFO (First In First Out) and the sales order is a credit note. The cost price will only be retrieved for those lines where the cost price field is blank (Main info can view by pressing Shift info) or for which a cost price has not been entered manually. |
| Select all | This function key is only displayed if the structure type is defined as changeable in Work with structure types. Select all lines. |
| All unmarked lines | This function key is only displayed if the structure type is defined as changeable in Work with structure types. Copy all unmarked lines. |
| All marked lines | This function key is only displayed if the structure type is defined as changeable in Work with structure types. Copy all marked lines. |
| View controls | Toggle the customer/item view by turning on/off the view control. |
- Order number
- Displays the sales order number and cannot be changed.
- Order type
- Displays the order type of the sales order and cannot be changed.
- Customer
- Displays the customer number and name of this sales order and cannot be changed.
- Item
- Displays the parent item, and description, in the order structure and cannot be changed.
- Structure type
- Displays the structure type for this parent item and cannot be changed. This code determines different rules concerning updates and calculations for the components of this parent item, established in Work with structure types.
- Quantity
- Displays the quantity of the parent item, but can be changed. If the unit is equal to the D/E-unit for the item, this quantity could display two units in the same quantity field. The partial units could be displayed with decimal positions for the Display/Entry unit or by a dual display/entry of both the Display/Entry unit and the Stock unit separated by a user-defined delimiter. Note: If the structure type is defined as changeable, the dispatch date can be changed when the order lines have been updated on the Order lines panel, Main info the components in the structure can be dispatched at various dates.
- Cr
- If there are one or more critical components in the structure, the system will automatically change the setting in this field to YES. This is to ensure that critical components are never delivered without the parent item. This field can be changed.
- Line
- Displays the line number for the component line.
- Component
- Displays the code of the component which belongs to the parent
- Component description
- Cr
- Indicates if the component is classified as a critical component, and cannot be changed. The following apply:
- Quantity
- Displays the quantity of the component, but can be changed if the structure type is defined as changeable in Work with structure types. If the unit is equal to the D/E-unit for the item, this quantity could display two units in the same quantity field. The partial units could be displayed with decimal positions for the Display/Entry unit or by a dual display/entry of both the Display/Entry unit and the Stock unit separated by a user-defined delimiter. - Unit
- Displays the component’s default unit of measure as defined in the Order structure file. This value can be changed if the structure type is defined as changeable in Work with structure types.
- Cost price
- This field is only displayed if the item is a fictitious item, or if the system cost type is FIFO and the order is for a credit note. Note: This field is optional if the sales order type for the order has been defined with Update stock on hand set to NO.
If a fictitious item, displays the standard cost price from the Item file if the item type for this item has the Fict std cost retr field set to YES in the Fictitious item type table. This can be changed.
Note: You can leave this field blank if the item type for this fictitious item has the Fict zero cost allowd field set to YES in the Fictitious item type table.
- Selection
- This column is only displayed when the structure type assigned to the parent item is set as changeable in Work with structure types. It denotes if the component line has been selected. Click the All marked lines function key to copy the selected component line(s) to the sales order, or the All unmarked lines function key to copy the non-selected component line(s) to the sales order.
- Component
- Enter the component code, if you wish to add a component to be copied into the sales order. Note: Adding components is only allowed if the structure type is defined as changeable in Work with structure types.
- Cr
- Indicate if this is a critical component. The following apply:
Note: If the structure type defined for the parent item has Structure avail set to NO, then the component cannot be set as critical. This is to ensure that critical components are not included on the pick list without the parent item.
- Quantity
- Enter the quantity of the new component which is to be copied into the sales order. Note: Negative quantities are not allowed if the system cost type in the DIS control file is FIFO (First In First Out).
- Unit
- Enter the unit for the component. Only units that are defined in the Item file for the component can be used.
