Fixed account codes is one of the accounting methods that can be used to retrieve the actual account number. Each fixed account code is to have a corresponding pseudo account code specified. This pseudo account code must already exist in the Pseudo account table.
When an accounting transaction occurs with a fixed account code defined for the inventory transaction, the connecting pseudo account code is referenced. This pseudo account code will then retrieve the connecting actual account number. The actual account number is then stored in the Bookkeeping transaction file in DC1 Distribution. Via a menu selection, the actual account number can be transferred to DC1 Financials.
