Work with Output Manager control file (ASGD9551)

Entries entered in this file are used to control the preparation of DC1 documents before Output Manager printing, e-mail and fax. The information contained in this file can be updated.

Platform
Enter the code for which platform the Output Manager is installed.

Permitted values:

Platform Win NT

Pipe outqueue
Note: This field is only applicable and mandatory if Platform is 2. Enter the outqueue which is connected to an NT server where Output Manager is installed and to which the prepared DC1 documents shall be sent. Note: The outqueue must reside in a library that is included in the system’s library list, such as QUSRSYS or QGPL.

Platform Win 9X

Folder path level 0
Note: This field is only applicable and mandatory if Platform is 3. Enter the folder name to which the prepared DC1 documents shall be sent to.
Folder path level 1
Note: This field is optional and only applicable if Platform is 3. Enter the folder name, beneath level 0 folder, to which the prepared DC1 documents shall be sent.
Folder path level 2
Note: This field is optional and only applicable if Platform is 3. Enter the folder name, beneath level 0 and level 1 folder, to which the prepared DC1 documents shall be sent to.
Folder path level 3
Note: This field is optional and only applicable if Platform is 3. Enter the folder name, beneath level 0, level 1 and level 2 folder, to which the prepared DC1 documents shall be sent.
Series no
Displays a series number used in Platform 3 handling to make a unique document name in the folder. This is incremented by one for each new document created and if the same document name exists in the folder.
CCSID table name
Note: This field is only applicable if Platform is 3. Enter the CCSID table name you want to use for the preparation of the DC1 document to Output Manager handling. If left blank the system default table is used.
CCSID table library
Enter the library name for where the CCSID table resides. If left blank the job’s library list is used.

Character identifier

Graphic char set
Optional entry. Enter the character identifier (graphic char set and code page) to be used to override (OVRPRTF command) the prepared DC1 document.

*CHRIDCTL
or an integer value range from 1 through 32767.
Code page
This field is mandatory if an integer value has been entered in the Graphic char set field above. Enter the character identifier (graphic char set and code page) to be used to override (OVRPRTF command) the prepared DC1 document. Permitted values are an integer range from 1 through 32767.
Circumflex character
Enter the circumflex character that will be used to exchange the character in the prepared DC1 document. This character precedes the Output Manager keywords in the document. E.g. JOB, FIELD. The purpose of this is to more flexibly be able to handle different types of character sets in different countries.
Dollar character
Enter the dollar character that will be used to exchange the character in the prepared DC1 document. This character precedes the Output Manager keyword PAGE in the document. It is used to reset Output Manager’s page counter. The purpose of this is to more flexibly be able to handle different types of character sets in different countries.
Env in job name Y/N
Indicate if you want the preparation of DC1 documents to insert the DC1 environment name in Output Manager’s job name. This could be helpful if you want to have different handling of Output Manager documents in different environments. For example, another form with another logo.
Cmp in job name Y/N
Indicate if you want the preparation of DC1 documents to insert the company code in Output Manager’s job name. This could be helpful if you want to have different handling of Output Manager documents in different companies. For example, another form with another logo.
Collate copies Y/N
Indicate if the printed copies should be collated.
