This program is used to define the inventory-controlled items that should be discontinued. This is done on a gradual basis, i.e. phasing them out over a number of periods. You define the periods in which this should take place as well as the percentage of quantity that should remain. This information is then retrieved when you calculate a new forecast in DC1 Inventory Control.
Example: Selections are: Item price group = PG1, Whs = WHS1 for periods 201002 to 201004. The items belonging to the Item price group will be displayed in this program. The next time you run a forecast calculation the percentage will be included in the calculation for the actual month. After period 201004 there will be 0 in forecast for those items.

On this panel you enter/select the key values for the selected key from the previous panel (e.g., Item, Item discount group, Item price group, etc) and define the period during which the item(s) should be phased out and ultimately discontinued.
