Selection fields
Work with printer control, Output controls (ASTD71804)
This panel can be accessed in Add, Maintain and View mode, depending on the option used on the initial panel. On this panel you enter detailed information for the printer program or printer group. The printout is controlled by the entries you make here. Click OK when you have completed all the information.
- Output ID
- This field can only be maintained in Add mode. Enter the ID of the new output control.
- Description
- Printer queue
- Enter the output queue (iSeries object OUTQ) connected to the printer file.
- Number of copies
- Enter the number of copies required for this printout.
- Hold before print
- Set this field to YES if the printout should be held in the output queue. Set this field to NO if the printout should be generated as soon as the printer is available.
- Save after print
- Set this field to YES if the spoolfile should be saved after the printout has been generated, otherwise set it to NO.
- Selection field
- Displays those selection fields that were completed with the code for Mandatory or Optional on the Work with printer control, Access control (ASTD71701) panel. If the selection field is set to mandatory it must be completed. The entry in the field is validated, if a validation program was selected on the Work with printer control, Selection fields (ASTD71004) panel.

- Output ID
- Displays the name of the output ID you are copying.
- New Output ID
- Enter the name of the new output ID.
