- Select the Work with tools/fixtures menu item.
- You access Work with tools and fixtures. Select the applicable tool (the Status column = 1, meaning the tool is under calibration) and click Calibration reporting.
- You access Tools and fixtures reporting, Calibration result. Select the tool and click Select.
- On the detail panel you report the result by completing the following fields:
- Reported value
- Enter the reported value.
- Alpha reported value
- If applicable, enter the reported alpha value.
- You return to the initial Tools and fixtures, Calibration result panel where the Rep column has been set to YES. If this reported value is acceptable, select the record and click Accept update. Exit the routine.
- Last calibr date is updated to the date you accepted the results.
- Next calibr date is updated to the next applicable date when a calibration should take place for those tools using the Date method.
- Calibration counter is reset to “blank” for those tools using the Point/Counter method.
- Calibration status is reset to “blank”.
Click OK.

What you do now depends on the result of the calibration. You can use the Calibration history enquiry to determine the need for, e.g., servicing the tool, a simple re-calibration of the tool or a new purchase.
