The following describes how to print a version report (type 1) on paper.
- Select the Work with reports menu item.
- On the main panel, select the applicable report and click Print.
- You access Work with reports, Version selection. Select the version you want to use.
- You access Work with reports, Print selection. Complete the following information:
- Year/Period
- In these fields you define what should be regarded as “this period”. If you have defined any relative columns for “this period” in the report description, then the period you enter here will be regarded as “this period”. For more information about relative columns, see Define actual value columns.
- You access Report printout, Select key values. This panel is only shown if dots (…) were entered in the report version for a selection field. See step 5 in Define a simple version for further details.
- From
- Enter the “from” value.
- To
- Enter the “to” value.
- TCP
- Set to YES if you want to create a table-controlled printout. This means that the system will create one report for each record in the table of the key (in this case Customer/Supplier group).
- Example:
If you leave the Cust/Supp group selection field blank and set this field to YES, then the system will create four reports, if we assume that four customer groups exist in the Customer/Supplier group table. The first report will contain information about customer group C1, the second will contain information about customer group C2, etc. - Here, leave this field blank, which is the same as NO.
- You access Work with reports, Print selection. Complete the following fields:
- Print option
- Leave the default Printer, which means that the report will be printed on paper. For information about the other print options, see Create and view an on-line report.
- Print specification
- Leave the field blank, meaning NO.
- Create work file
- Leave the field blank, meaning NO. See Create a database file of the report for further details about this field.
Click OK.
If we assume that the version you selected is defined with dots for the Cust/Supp group field, then this means that you can select the customer groups you want to include in the printout. And, if the version was a sales version, then this selection field only applies for customer groups and not supplier groups. Complete the following fields:
Click OK.
Define the printout parameters and click OK to print the report. Exit the routine.
