This panel displays the method subtypes used in DC1 when exchanging DI documents with a trading partner. The following method subtypes are pre-loaded at installation time:
- ANSI/X12
- EDIFACT
- *ASWXML
All the above method subtypes belong to EDI/400 method. All methods are defined in the DI methods table.
In the DI document table, you connect a DI document/DI document subtype to a method and a method subtype, indicating the method to be used when exchanging the DI document with a trading partner.
In the Business partner file the DI methods/method subtypes are activated, indicating the method to be used when communicating with a particular customer/supplier.
