Selection fields
- Document
- This column lists the document ID’s.
- Description
- This column lists the document descriptions.
- Short description
- This column lists the description as an abbreviation. This description is displayed on the Edit text panel.
- Val
- This column indicates if the document ID is valid to be used in the Print control functionality. See Standardize the layout/information on the printout for more information. This value is preloaded with the document ID.
- Act
- This column indicates if the document ID is activated for the Print control functionality. See Standardize the layout/information on the printout for more information.
Work with documents (GDMD3824)
The documents in this table are all the documents in which text entered in the general Text Editor program can be printed. All documents are connected to one, or several document text types. The connection is defined in the Document text type table.
When text is entered using the general Text Editor program (which can be accessed in a vast number of programs within DC1), the user has the option to display all documents connected to the particular document text type. In addition, for each text entered, the user can define on which documents the text should be printed.
Function keys
- Document
- Description
- Short description
- Enter the description as an abbreviation. This description is displayed on the Edit text panel.
- Max text line length
- Enter the the maximum of characters allowed on each text line. Any changes in this field will immediately affect all existing documents.
- Prt control, valid
- Indicates if the document ID is valid to be used in the Print control functionality. See Standardize the layout/information on the printout for more information. This value is preloaded with the document ID and cannot be changed.
- Prt control, active
- Indicate if the document ID is activated for the Print control functionality. See Standardize the layout/information on the printout for more information. Only allowed if Prt control, valid is set to YES.
- Application code
- Enter a code from the Application definition table, indicating to which application the document belongs.
