This program enables you to scan pack the items listed in the pick list. It is displayed when you enter the Pick list number on the Select pick list for scan packing panel and then click OK.
Scan pack significantly improves picking, packing, goods receipt and dispatch processes by eliminating errors such as incorrect items being picked; incorrect numbers of items being packed; and stock being put away in the wrong location. Scan pack enables scanning of items, cartons, and pallets through barcode technology.
Options
Delete scanned item | Select this option to delete the scanned item. It enables the deletion of an item that is identified as unfit for the container before the carton is closed. |
Re-print label | Select this option to reprint an SSCC label, if required. |
Function keys
Scan overview | Use this function key to determine the scanning progress of the individual pick list and other pick lists within the pick list consolidation. |
Close container | Close the carton if the carton is full to indicate that the first carton is closed for pick list printout. The Reopen container is then displayed. Note: After this function key is used, the standard Print control panel is displayed which enables the override of the printer to which the SSCC labels are directed. |
Reopen container | Use this function key to open a carton. The panel, displayed after clicking this function key, accepts the SSCC and removes the SSCC reference for all subfile records to which the SSCC was assigned. This enables you to open a carton repack and re-label the scan packed items. |

- The pick list number selected for scanning.
- GTIN number
- The Global Trade Item Number of the item.
- Quantity required
- The total pick list quantity to be scanned.
- Quantity scanned
- The number of units scanned.
- Item
- The code that identifies the scanned item.
- Scan qty
- The quantity of item to be scanned.
- Sales qty
- The quantity of item to be delivered.
- SSCC
- The SSCC number.
- Description
- The description of the item to be scanned.
- GTIN
- The global trade item number of the item.
- Pck line
- The line number of the item that is to be scan packed.

- The sales order number.

- Consolidation no
- The consolidation number.
- Consolidation scanned
- The percentage of the consolidated quantity of items scanned.
- Pick list
- The pick list number.
- Customer
- The code and description of the customer of the respective order.
- Scan (%)
- Indicate how much percentage of the total items have been scanned.
- Ordered
- The total quantity ordered.
