The following describes how you measure the time taken for various stages of the order process to be completed. You determine the time periods, warehouses and order types you wish to check and you can compare the average time taken to a target time defined by you. This function works in a similar way to the function described in Open order analysis, the difference being that here time is the key issue, whereas order status is the key factor in Open order analysis.

  1. Select the Order progress analysis menu item in the Supply Chain Analysis sub-menu or the All functions list.
  2. You access the Order progress analysis selection window. Do the following:
    • Select the Type of order.
    • Check the Backorders and/or Non backorders boxes to include these orders in the analysis.
    • Tick the Show steps check box if you wish to see results for activity in all the steps between the first and last log point.
    • Tick the Show target time check box if you wish to set a target time to which you can compare the actual time taken for stages to be completed.
    • Select the log points in the order cycle for which you wish to view the analysis. Each log point is a particular stage in the order and conforms to an order status in DC1.

Note: If you click OK to run the search now, you will see all orders of the type you have specified.
