This panel can be accessed from the Sales order entry routine or from the Work with commissions routine. For existing commission records, you can change the commission base amount and the commission percentage. If you are adding commission records manually, which can only be done from the Sales order entry routine, the salesman can also be defined.
Note: A commission record can only be changed if defined as changeable in the Salesman commission table.
Function keys
- Salesman
- When in change mode, displays a signature from the Signature table, indicating the salesman for which the commission applies. If you are adding a record manually, enter a valid signature from the Signature table, indicating for which salesman the commission applies. Note: Only signatures with YES in the Salesman field in the Signature table, are allowed.
- Customer
- Displays the customer on the sales order which created the commission record.
- Order
- Displays the order number which created the commission.
- Order date
- Displays the date the order was entered.
- Order line
- Displays the number of the order line which created this commission.
- Item
- Displays the item for which the commission applies.
- Invoice
- Displays an invoice number, if the sales order is invoiced.
- Invoice date
- Displays the invoice date, if the sales order is invoiced.
- Comm base amount
- If in change mode, displays a code indicating the amount used in the commission calculation. If you are adding a commission record manually, enter one of the following codes, indicating the amount to use in the commission calculation.
Value Description 1 net sales value * ordered quantity. 2 net sales value * dispatched quantity. 3 Invoiced amount. 4 Paid amount. Once the sales order line is invoiced, the invoiced amount will be defaulted but you have the possibility to override the it here manually.
- Base amount
- Displays the base amount, in system currency, used in the commission calculation.
- Paid amount
- This field displays the amount that has been paid by the customer and upon which commission will be calculated. This is updated with the figure that is determined during invoice generation. However, this field may be manually updated.
- Commission %
- Displays the percentage used when calculating the commission. If you are adding a commission record manually, enter the commission percentage to be used in the commission calculation.
- Commission amount
- Displays commission calculated in system currency.
- Commission level
- Displays the commission level indicating the parameters used for this commission.

- Payment date
- Displays the date when the commission was marked as paid. The payment date is manually entered when the commission has been paid to the salesman. This is done using the Work with commissions menu item.
