Statistical procedures are a component in INTRASTAT reporting. A statistical procedure is a list type that needs to be completed for different types of sales and purchases. The information is used in the INTRASTAT declaration. The procedures are country specific, i.e. the country is the key to the procedure, since the name of the procedure can be the same for more than one country.
Certain countries, like Belgium, Germany and the UK, separate their dispatches and arrivals into different statistical procedures. Others have only one procedure for arrivals and one for dispatches.
