Each declaration can have different types of declaration codes. For example, the S03CCR declaration contains four possible types of declaration codes.

This panel displays all the existing declaration codes defined for the selected declaration. Some of the declaration codes are preloaded during installation. If you require more declaration codes, then add a new record.

Selections | Select this option to define the parameters that should be used to select the G/L transactions that must be included for the selected declaration code. |
Selection fields
- Declaration identity
- Displays the code identifying the selected declaration followed by a description.
- Code
- This column lists all declaration codes available for the selected declaration.
- Description
- This column lists the description of all declaration codes available for the selected declaration.
- Seq
- Displays the sequence number of all declaration codes available for the selected declaration. This sequence number is used during the selection of the G/L transactions and identifies the priority of the declaration code. If there is a possibility that the transactions could be included in different declaration types, due to the setup of the selections, then the transaction will be included in the declaration with the highest priority (= lowest sequence number).

On this panel you enter or maintain the details of a declaration code for the selected declaration.
- Declaration identity
- Displays the code identifying the selected declaration followed by a description.
- Declaration code
- Enter a code to identify the type of declaration.
- Description
- Enter a description of the declaration code.
- Sequence
- Enter the sequence number of the declaration code. This sequence number is used during the selection of the G/L transactions and identifies the priority of the declaration code. If there is a possibility that the transactions could be included in different declaration types, due to the setup of the selections, then the transaction will be included in the declaration with the highest priority (= lowest sequence number).
- Default
- Due to the setup of the selections, it is possible that no declaration is found for a certain G/L transaction. Should this be the case, then indicate here if the transaction should be defaulted on the declaration code.
