The purpose of this program is to create/edit default field functions for fields to be converted. The table is used by the preload program.
Note: The preload program always sets the default field functions on new lines. In the situations, defined in the list below, it also sets the default field functions on existing lines:
Situation | Set default |
---|---|
When creating a new specification in the Work with specifications program. | YES |
Preloading on the Maintain field specifications (CVTD4041) panel using the F14 function key. | NO |
Preloading on the Work with specifications (CVTD3001) panel using the 10 option. | The panel (CVTD300N) is displayed where you can select YES or NO. |
Preloading when running a conversion specification on the Work with specifications (CVTD3001) panel using the 8 option. | NO |
Assume the following default field functions exist:
Field name | File name | Num | Func | Value |
---|---|---|---|---|
*ALL | *ALL | N | LEFTA | |
*ALL | SROPRG | Y | ADD | 1,123 |
%NANO | *ALL | N | RLZLA | |
%NO | *ALL | N | COMB | AAA+25:3 |
%NO | SRONOI | N | CONS | AAA |
All alphanumeric fields in all files will get function LEFTA, except those fields ending with NANO or NO.
All numeric fields in the file SROPRG will get function ADD.
All alphanumeric fields in all files that end with NO, except the fields in the file SRONOI and fields ending with NANO will get function COMB. All alphanumeric fields in the file SRONOI that end with NO will get function CONS.
All fields in all files ending with NANO will get function RLZLA.
