All of the route lists that are available in your system are displayed on this panel. Each route list contains a scheduled departure and planned deliveries. This program forms part of the Shipment preparation process.
There are two ways of creating route lists; automatically or manually:
- Automatically created route lists are generated by the system according to the information defined for a route plan in the Work with routes routine.
- Manually defined route lists are entered by the route planner for specific deliveries. These are created via the Add option on this panel.
Note: Route lists that are manually created or those that are automatically generated by the system, but have been manually changed, are considered as manual. These are identified on this panel with the Manual column set to YES.
Options
Destinations | Select this option to work with destinations. |
Create shipment | Select this option to manually create the shipment that will be delivered along this route. The Outbound delivery schedules program will build a shipment header outlining the deliveries to each destination on the route for that dispatch date. The program will retrieve the shipment number and return it to this panel under the Shipment column. |
Shipment header | Select this option to view the associated shipment header information. |
Shipment addresses | Select this option to view the associated shipment addresses. |
Restrictions | Select this option to access the Route restrictions panel where you can attach (or detach) a route restriction group, holding the items that are not to be delivered on this route list. The restriction will also apply for all destinations and customers for the route list. |
