This enquiry is ideal to use when the customer wants to know the price and delivery for a specific quantity of a specific item as all of the information regarding the price (e.g., prices, discounts, contracts, rebates for SMS agreements) and availability are displayed on, or accessible from this panel. Details can be accessed via the function keys.
Entering item information
If only item is entered, the price or prices (limit or quantity dependent) are displayed. The unit and system currency are automatically retrieved but can be overridden if sales prices exist for the combination of item/currency/unit. The price displayed is the one valid today.
Entering item and customer information
If a customer is also entered, the panel will display the price (after any applied discounts) valid for this customer. To see how the price was calculated and to view any applied discounts select the appropriate function.
Entering item, customer and quantity
If a quantity is also entered the correct price is selected if limit dependent prices (quantity or amount) exist. The net amount will be calculated and displayed excluding VAT. The total amount will be calculated and displayed with any VAT included.
Entering item and warehouse
If the DC1 Contract Managed Inventory (CMI) application is activated and an item and warehouse, that is connected to an inventory contract, is entered you will receive a message if active inventory contracts exist. This message will inform you that special sales prices may exist for the inventory contracts. Click the window prompt in the Inv contract field to select the applicable inventory contract. Any existing sales price information from this contract will be retrieved.

- Item
- Mandatory entry. Enter the complete item code, or item alias, to view price and availability information. The description of the item will be displayed, (in the DC1 UI Client only), to the right of the field.
- Customer
- Enter a customer to view price and discount information for the customer and item.
- Del addr no
- This field is used in conjunction with the Warehouse and Sourcing pol fields on this panel. Enter the customer’s delivery address number from the Business partner/Address file to retrieve the Sourcing policy assigned to it. If the field is left blank, the system retrieves the Sourcing policy defined for the customer in the Business partner file. If the item is stored in any of the warehouses within this Sourcing policy, that warehouse is displayed in the Warehouse field.
- Currency
- Enter a code from the Currency table, indicating for which currency prices should be displayed.
- Quantity
- If a Default sales quantity exists for the item/unit on the Units panel in the Item file, and the order type used on the Sales order/quotation is set up on the Level keys level in Work with defaults and replacements, this quantity will be retrieved after you enter the item and sales unit and click OK. Otherwise, enter the quantity of the item. If the quantity requires decimals, the decimal sign should be entered along with the decimal amount. A maximum of three decimals is allowed. Valid number of decimals for this item is defined in the Item file.
- Sales unit
- Enter the unit for the item. Depending on what has been activated and/or defined in the system, the unit can either be automatically retrieved or entered manually.
- Price unit
- Only displayed if the PRCUNIT (Price unit handling) function is activated in the Function control file. Displays the unit in which the price is presented. See About price unit handling for more information.
- Warehouse
- Mandatory entry if the Cost by warehouse function is activated. This field is used in conjunction with the Del addr no and Sourcing pol fields on this panel.
If a customer number was entered in the Customer field, this field displays the warehouse where the item is stored as defined in the customer’s Sourcing policy. If no customer was entered, but the item is only stored in one warehouse, that warehouse will be defaulted, otherwise it is blank. The field can be changed.
Note: If only a customer number is entered, a warehouse is retrieved automatically. The Warehouse field must be blanked out if the Del addr no and/or Customer fields are changed in order for the system to retrieve a new warehouse code according to the changes. If any of the fields are changed and the Warehouse field has been changed manually, you might want to keep that entry regardless of the changes.
- Order source
- Only displayed if the ORDSRACT (Order source active) function is activated in the Function control file. Displays the order source code denoting from where the order was created.
- NCC number
- Only displayed if the NCC-SELL (NCC Selling) function is activated in the Function control file. If the customer accepts NCC goods, (the NCC goods flag for the customer (in the Customer file) is anything but zero, you can enter the NCC number for the Item, Customer and Warehouse combination to retrieve the total quantity in usable NCC in stock unit. This will be displayed in the NCC avail field. See About NCC selling for more information.
- Price list
- Displays the price list used for the order. This is retrieved for the customer from the Customer file, if one is defined. If no price list is assigned to the customer, the Standard price list (defined in the DIS control file) will be used and this field will be blank. When DC1 runs the main pricing program it will use this Standard price list as the starting point for calculating any prices or discounts as it needs a starting price in the event that it encounters only discounts in the Customer contracts and Sales pricing methods.
- Date
- Today’s date is defaulted. Enter the date that you wish to view information for.
- Promotion
- This field is only displayed if at least one open sales promotion exists that is flagged for promotion pricing. Enter a sales promotion. This field simulates the promotion pricing. When you enter a promotion, it is passed to sales price calculation and is subject to direct pricing.
- Incl FOC itm
- Only displayed if the FOC items pricing policy is set to YES in the DIS control file. This field indicates if the price calculation includes or excludes FOC items. The default value is set as YES.
- Rebate calc
- Only displayed if the RBT-SOE (Rebate calculation at SO entry) function is activated in the Function control file. Indicate if any expected rebate amount should be calculated for the current enquiry. If an expected rebate amount is found for the enquired item/customer, this amount will affect the gross margin.
- Matrix qty
- This field is only displayed if the ITEMMTRX (Item matrix) function is activated in the Function control file and is only applicable if the entered item is a matrix item or a matrix base item. Enter a total matrix quantity. The entered quantity will be used for comparison towards matrix limits.
- Inv contract
- This field is only displayed if the DC1 Contract Managed Inventory (CMI) is activated. If you entered an item and warehouse that is connected to an inventory contract, and active inventory contracts exists, you will receive a message informing you that special sales prices may exist for the inventory contracts. Click the window prompt in this field to select the applicable inventory contract. Any existing sales price information from this contract will be retrieved.
Price info
- Net price
- Displays the net sales price. Both line discount and order discount are withdrawn in this price.
- Net amount
- This field contains a value if the Quantity field in the top part of the panel was defined. Displays the net amount, i.e. net price multiplied with the quantity. Both line discount and order discount are withdrawn in this price.
- VAT amount
- Displays the VAT amount.
- Est surcharg
- Displays an estimate of the surcharge amount that will be added to the invoice. This is only an estimate, since no actual sales order has been entered, the cost of the packaging has not been calculated. Note: This is only valid for items that have surcharge handling defined in the Item file.
- Total amount
- Displays the total amount, i.e. the net amount plus the VAT or sales tax amount.
- FOC
- Indicates if the item is free-of-charge.
- FOC items
- Only displayed if the FOC items pricing policy is set to YES in the DIS control file. This field indicates if FOC items have been applied in the sales price and discounts calculation.
- Prc unit qty
- Only displayed if the PRCUNIT (Price unit handling) function is activated in the Function control file. Displays the price unit quantity (i.e. the sales quantity presented according to the price unit). See About price unit handling for more information.
- Delivery qty
- This field is only displayed if the Bonus pricing policy parameter is set to YES in the DIS control file. If the same item bonus functionality is set up in the system and the setup stipulations are met for the item on the order line, the quantity that will be invoiced to the customer will be less than the ordered quantity for the item. This field displays the quantity to be delivered, if found for the actual item and quantity.
- Invoice qty
- This field is only displayed if the Bonus pricing policy parameter is set to YES in the DIS control file. If the same item bonus functionality is set up in the system and the setup stipulations are met for the item on the order line, the quantity that will be invoiced to the customer can be less than the ordered quantity for the item. This field displays the quantity to be invoiced, if found for the actual item and quantity.
Cost/Margin
- Std cost
- Displays the standard cost of the item, retrieved from the Item file. Note: The cost price is displayed in stock units.
- Last p cost
- Displays the last purchase cost of the item, retrieved from the Item file. Note: The cost price is displayed in stock units.
- Average cost
- Displays the average cost for the item, retrieved from the Item file. Note: The cost price is displayed in stock units.
- Std cost sal
- Only displayed if you are authorised. Displays the standard cost sales (always calculated from the standard cost) retrieved from either the Item file, Inventory information panel or the Item file, Warehouse panel (dictated by the Cost per warehouse flag in the DIS control file). This field is used as cost basis for margin calculation and sales pricing. The value is stored in cost unit.
- Margin cost
- Only displayed if you are authorised. Displays the margin cost which is used for the profit margin percentage (Profit %) calculation. Margin cost is presented in cost unit and system currency.
Profit margin calculation is based on a margin cost basis calculation method parameter, stored in the Item file or in the DIS control file (if it does not exist in the Item file). This calculation can be based on the following:
- Average purchase cost
- Standard cost (SC)
- Last purchase cost
- Purchase price 1
- Standard cost sales (SCS)
- FOC itm cost
- Displays the accumulated cost of all FOC dependent lines.
- Profit %
- Displays the profit margin in percentage.
- Exp reb amt
- Only displayed if the RBT-SOE (Rebate calculation at SO entry) function is activated in the Function control file. Displays the expected rebate amount for the item. It is only calculated if the Rebate calc field is set to YES above. The expected rebate amount is regarded as a delayed discount and will affect the gross margin.
- SMS rebate
- Only displayed if the DC1 SMS (Supplier Marketing Support) application is installed and activated. Displays the SMS rebate for the item.
- Transit cost
- This field is only displayed in the DC1 UI Client. Displays the last transit purchase cost for the item.
- Avg trans cost
- This field is only displayed in the DC1 UI Client. Displays the average transit cost for the item.
Availability
- Available
- Displays the quantity available in the warehouse defined in the top part of the panel. The field is blank if no warehouse is entered. Note: Any purchase orders, or other types of replenishment, expected to be received today or earlier, are not taken into account when calculating the available quantity.
- On hand
- Displays the physical stock on hand quantity.
- On order
- Displays the total quantity on purchase/work/manufacturing orders and manually entered orders.
- Reserved
- Displays the total quantity on sales orders or work/manufacturing order components, manually entered reservations and quantity on supplier return orders.
- Plan time
- The planning time is only displayed if a warehouse was entered. Displays the planning time in days. For normal deliveries (i.e. not BtB) this is the sum of the administration time, lead time and transport time. For BtB transit deliveries it is the sum of BtB lead time and transport time.
- Supplier
- If a warehouse was entered in the top part of the panel, displays the supplier defined in the Item file for that warehouse. If no supplier is defined for the warehouse, displays the main supplier of the item.
- NCC avail
- Only displayed if the NCC-SELL (NCC Selling) function is activated in the Function control file. If you entered the NCC number for the Item, Customer and Warehouse combination, the total quantity in usable NCC in stock unit is displayed in this field. See About NCC selling for more information.
- Remaining quota
- This field is only displayed if the QUOTAGDS (Quota goods) function is activated in the Function control file. Displays the remaining quota quantity that is allowed to be sold. See About the quota goods functionality for more information.
- Sourcing pol
- This field is used in conjunction with the Del addr no and Warehouse fields on this panel.
Displays a code from the Sourcing policy table identifying the sourcing policy attributed to the customer in the Business partner file.
If a value is entered in the Del addr no field, the Sourcing policy defined for the customer’s delivery address in the Business partner/Address file is retrieved. If the item is stored in any of the warehouses within the Sourcing policy displayed, the first warehouse among them is displayed in the Warehouse field.
Note: If a Sourcing policy is defined for the item, the system will retrieve that Sourcing policy, not the Sourcing policy defined for the customer’s delivery address.
Customer service enquiry, Sales pricing keys (DMR12202)
If a customer was not defined on the initial panel this panel displays all active customer related and order related keys from the DIS control keys table. If a customer was entered then only the order related keys are displayed.
If you accessed this panel via the Customer service enquiry, you can enter values for the activated sales pricing keys, to see how these values affect the sales price and the SMS rebates. For example, if a customer wants his/her goods in a hurry you may want to enter a rush order or a priority order type to see how or if this affects the price depending upon how your sales prices are defined. In addition this panel is used to enter any missing sales pricing keys for sales pricing methods that have been read and not considered in the price calculation as a key was missing.
If you accessed this panel via the Customer and Item info, Line entry panel, you can only view the values which are preloaded from the sales order. Some of the values can be changed but this is done via the Order header/Order line itself.

- Item
- Displays the item entered on the previous panel.
- Customer
- Displays the customer entered on the previous panel, if any.
- Sales pricing keys
- Depending on which keys are activated in the DIS control keys table, (i.e. for sales pricing, SMS or Customer rebates), several fields can be displayed below. By entering permitted values for the fields (only possible if you accessed this panel via the Customer service enquiry), the system will retrieve a new sales price based on entered sales pricing key values.
Customer service enquiry (DMR12205)
This panel displays additional information regarding VAT information, Credit information and Currency clause handling.
- Item
- Mandatory entry. Enter the complete item code, or item alias, to view price and availability information. The description of the item will be displayed, (in the DC1 UI Client only), to the right of the field.
- Customer
- Enter a customer to view price and discount information for the customer and item.
- Del addr no
- This field is used in conjunction with the Warehouse and Sourcing pol fields on this panel. - VAT handl cd
- Displays the VAT handling code to apply to the sales price of the item, as defined via the system search as follows:
- Business partner VAT table.
- Item file, Country/Country VAT information panel
- Country/Country VAT table
- DIS control file
Note: If the VAT1 function is activated in the Function control file, then the system will not search in the DIS control file.
- VAT included
- Indicates if VAT is included in the sales price of the item.
- Incl VAT% cd
- Displays the VAT handling code for the VAT percentage, if any, which is included in the sales price.
- Sales tax
- Indicates if this item is sales taxed.
- Tax amount
- Displays the sales tax amount.
Credit info
- Credit limit
- If a customer was entered in the top part of the panel, displays the credit limit, in system currency, defined for the customer, if any.
- Act balance
- If a customer was entered in the top part of the panel, displays the actual balance of the customer. This includes all sales orders in the system belonging to the customer plus all unpaid invoices. Note: If this balance exceeds the amount defined in the Credit limit field, this field will be displayed in reversed image.
- Cr stop code
- If a credit stop code is defined in the Business partner file for the customer entered in the top part of the panel, the code is displayed here.
Curr clause
- Curr clause
- Clause code
- Purch curr
- If a currency clause is defined in the Curr clause field on this panel, this field displays the purchase currency defined for the clause in the Currency clause code table. This is the type of currency used to purchase the item from the supplier, i.e. the purchase currency defined for the main supplier of this item.
- Agr rate
Work with sales orders/sales quotation maintenance, Customer and item info, Line entry (DMR12206)
You can use this panel to register sales order/quotation lines while simultaneously viewing/have access to pricing and stock balance information. It is ideal to use when the customer wants to know the price and delivery for a specific quantity of a specific item as all of the information regarding the price (e.g., prices, discounts, contracts, rebates for SMS agreements) and availability are displayed on, or accessible from this panel.
The Item and Quantity are mandatory entries. Most other data is retrieved automatically, but can be changed.
To create the line click Create. If successfully created you will receive a message. If any errors occurred during the creation process, they will be displayed on the various order/quotation line panels.

- Customer

- Order number
- If you accessed this panel from Work with sales orders, Order lines, displays the sales order number.
- Quotation no
- If you accessed this panel from Sales quotation maintenance, Quotation line entry, displays the quotation number.
- Item
- Mandatory entry. Enter the complete item code, or item alias, (together with the Quantity), to view price and availability information.
- Price code
- Indicates how the sales price was established. The price code is defined in the Item price code table.
- Quantity
- If a Default sales quantity exists for the item/unit on the Units panel in the Item file, and the order type used on the Sales order/quotation is set up on the Level keys level in Work with defaults and replacements, this quantity will be retrieved after you enter the item and sales unit and click OK. Otherwise, you must enter the quantity.
- Sales unit
- Enter/displays the sales unit for the item.
- Pricing unit
- Only displayed if the PRCUNIT (Price unit handling) function is activated in the Function control file and will only be input-capable if authority has been set up for your user ID via SECUR (i.e. Authority group SO-SALES, routine SO-PRICE for object “sales order type”). It is an optional entry here. The price unit is for presentation purposes only. If you choose to let the system automatically retrieve a price and a Default sales price unit is defined for the item this field is normally left blank and the value retrieved together with the price. You can, however, enter a price unit manually. Note: If you enter a price manually and your company uses Price unit handling, but no price unit is defined in this field, the default sales price unit will be retrieved and displayed as a default. The sales unit (i.e. Unit field) is the unit used for retrieval of the sales price. See Example: Pricing unit for sales order/quotation line.
- Price
- This field is only input-capable if authority has been set up for your user ID via SECUR (i.e. Authority group SO-SALES, routine SO-PRICE for object “sales order type”). The price can be retrieved automatically from the system (see Retrieval of sales price or entered manually. If you intend to enter a manual discount amount or discount percentage, you do not have to enter a price. The system will retrieve the price automatically and apply the entered discount amount to the non-discounted sales price. The retrieval of any additional discounts, apart from the one that you manually enter, is controlled by the setting of the Additional discount flag in the DIS control file and the Man priced flag on the order line. See The types of discounts automatically applied to the line for more information.
- FOC
- This field is only input-capable if authority has been set up for your user ID via SECUR (i.e. Authority group SO-SALES, routine SO-DISC for object “sales order type”). Indicate if the order line will be free of charge.
- Gross margin
- Only displayed if you are authorised. In addition, it will only be input-capable if authority has been set up for your user ID via SECUR (i.e. Authority group SO-SALES, routine SO-PRICE for object “sales order type”). Manually enter the gross margin percentage for the order line. After clicking OK the gross margin will be updated in the Gross margin field above and the sales price for the line will be updated accordingly. Note: Any existing discounts will also be affected. See Gross margin and discounts for more information.
- Discount ID
- This field is only input-capable if authority has been set up for your user ID via SECUR (i.e. Authority group SO-SALES, routine SO-DISC for object “sales order type”). If you intend to manually enter a discount amount or discount percentage, enter a discount ID from the Sales discount ID table to indicate the reason for the discount you are manually entering for this sales order line. This field must be completed if either Disc amount or Disc% are to be used.
Note: Two validations will be performed to check for multiple discounts with the same Discount ID. The first will validate that the Discount ID, being entered here for the manual entry, is defined for line level. The second validation will check, when running additional discounts, if any other discounts have automatically been picked up from the pricing calculation that contain the same Discount ID. If this is true, the discount ID you are trying to enter will not be allowed.
- Disc amount
- This field is only input-capable if authority has been set up for your user ID via SECUR (i.e. Authority group SO-SALES, routine SO-DISC for object “sales order type”). Enter the manual discount amount per unit to be applied on the order line. If entered, the Discount % field must be left blank but you must enter a Discount ID in the Discount ID field.
Note: You do not have to enter a price when entering a manual discount amount here. The system will retrieve the price automatically and apply the entered discount amount to the non-discounted sales price. The retrieval of any additional discounts, apart from the one that you manually entered here, is controlled by the setting of the Additional discount flag in the DIS control file and the Man priced flag on the order line. See The types of discounts automatically applied to the line for more information.
- Discount %
- This field is only input-capable if authority has been set up for your user ID via SECUR (i.e. Authority group SO-SALES, routine SO-DISC for object “sales order type”). Enter the manual discount percentage to be allowed on the order line. If entered, the Disc amount field must be left blank but you must enter a Discount ID in the Discount ID field.
Note: You do not have to enter a price when entering a manual discount percentage here. The system will retrieve the price automatically and apply the entered discount percentage to the non-discounted sales price. The retrieval of any additional discounts, apart from the one that you manually entered here, is controlled by the setting of the Additional discount flag in the DIS control file and the Man priced flag on the order line. - Disp date
- Indicates the date that the goods will be dispatched to your customer. Note: This value can be changed.
If a message is displayed indicating that the dispatch date is invalid, the reason can be one of the following:
- The date format is not correct (as defined in the Language table)
- The entered date is not a work day (as defined in the Calendar file)
- The date has not been updated in the Calendar file.
- Del address
- This field is not displayed if this panel was accessed from quotation line maintenance or from a service order. Indicates the number of the delivery address that has been defined for the sales order line.

- Warehouse
- Indicate the warehouse from which the item should be delivered.
- OFR
- Manual entry for a new line only. Only complete this field if you want to override the OFR code that will be applied to the line once it is created. If you do not manually enter a code here the code on the Order header, retrieved from the Customer file, will apply. See Valid OFR codes. Note: The OFR logic is only performed when the order line is entered. Split on warehouse is NOT performed if the quantity is increased on an existing line. Automatic fulfilment has no impact on backorder line creation during pick list confirmation or invoicing.

- BtB/IRO type
- Per order line you can enter a BtB order type and create a BtB purchase order line. This overrides the BtB purchase order type assigned to the entire order. This enables you to mix different types of order lines per order (meaning you can have normal order lines as well as transit and/or direct delivered BtB order lines on the same order).
The type of delivery valid for the BtB purchase order type is retrieved from the Purchase order type table. When you click OK to update the line, the BtB information (i.e. BtB purchase order type and the type of delivery, Transit or Direct) is displayed per line.
- Inv contract
- This field is only displayed if DC1 Contract Managed Inventory is activated. This is one of the methods that can be used to link a sales order line to an inventory contract. Enter or click the window prompt to select the inventory contract applicable for this sales order line. The sales order line will be validated against the inventory contract and the warehouse will be retrieved from the inventory contract. See About consuming goods from Contract Managed Inventory (CMI) for links to specific instructions per inventory contract type.
- Available
- Displays the quantity available in the warehouse defined in the top part of the panel. The field is blank if no warehouse is entered. Note: Any purchase orders, or other types of replenishment, expected to be received today or earlier, are not taken into account when calculating the available quantity.
- Net price
- Displays the line net price in system currency. Both line discount and order discount are withdrawn in this price.
- FOC items
- Only displayed if the FOC items pricing policy is set to YES in the DIS control file. This field indicates if FOC items are included in the sales price and discounts calculation.
- On hand
- Displays the physical stock on hand quantity.
- Net amount
- Displays the line net amount in system currency for the pricing unit.
- FOC itm cost
- Displays the accumulated cost of all FOC dependent lines.
- On order
- Displays the total quantity on purchase/work/manufacturing orders and manually entered orders.
- VAT amount
- Displays the VAT amount.
- Pricing date
- Displays the date used to price the sales order lines. By default, current date is taken as the Pricing date.
- Reserved
- Displays the total quantity on sales orders or work/manufacturing order components, manually entered reservations, pick lists and quantity on supplier return orders.
- Est surcharg
- Displays an estimate of the surcharge amount that will be added to the invoice. This is only an estimate, since no actual sales order has been entered, the cost of the packaging has not been calculated. Note: This is only valid for items that have surcharge handling defined in the Item file.
- Promotion
- This field is only displayed if at least one open sales promotion exists that is flagged for promotion pricing. Displays the selected promotion that is passed to sales price calculation and is subject to direct pricing.
- Total amount
- Displays the total amount, i.e. the net line amount plus the VAT or sales tax amount and any surcharges.
- Margin cost
- Only displayed if the PROFIT authority group is activated. Displays the margin cost basis.
- Exp reb amt
- Only displayed if the RBT-SOE (Rebate calculation at SO entry) function is activated in the Function control file. Displays the expected rebate amount for the enquired item. It is only calculated if the Rebate calc field is set to YES above. The expected rebate amount is regarded as a delayed discount and will affect the gross margin.
- SMS rebate
- Only displayed if the DC1 SMS (Supplier Marketing Support) application is installed and activated. Displays the SMS rebate for the enquired item.
Work with sales orders/sales quotation maintenance, Customer and item info, Line entry (DMR12207)
This panel displays additional information for the item/quantity you entered on the previous panel.
Function keys
Sales pricing keys | Access the Sales pricing keys panel to view the values which are preloaded from the sales order. Some of the values can be changed but this is done via the Order header/Order line itself. |

- Customer
- Displays the customer number and description.
- Order number
- If you accessed this panel from Work with sales orders, Order lines, displays the sales order number.
- Quotation no
- If you accessed this panel from Sales quotation maintenance, Quotation line entry, displays the quotation number.
- Supplier
- Only displayed if this is a BtB order line. Displays the main supplier of the item, retrieved from the Item file.
- Plan time
- The planning time is only displayed if a warehouse was entered. Displays the planning time in days. For normal deliveries (i.e. not BtB) this is the sum of the administration time, lead time and transport time. For BtB transit deliveries it is the sum of BtB lead time and transport time.
- Curr clause
- Credit limit
- Displays the credit limit defined for the customer, if any, in system currency.
- Clause code
- Act balance
- Displays the actual balance for the customer. This includes all sales orders in the system belonging to the customer plus all unpaid invoices. Note: If this balance exceeds the amount defined in the Credit lim field, this field will be displayed in reversed image.
- Purch curr
- If a currency clause is defined in the Curr clause field on this panel, displays the purchase currency defined for the clause in the Currency clause code table. This is the type of currency used to purchase the item from the supplier, i.e. the purchase currency defined for the main supplier of this item.
- Cr stop code
- Displays the credit stop code if it has been defined in the Business partner file for the customer.
- Agr rate
- Displays the currency adjustment rate.
- VAT based
- Indicates if this is a VAT based item. This value is defined in the Item file. Note: In the maintenance routine, you may change this code, in which case the order line value will be recalculated by the system.
- Last quot
- This information is only displayed if you did not access this program from quotation line maintenance. Displays the number and version of the last open quotation for the same customer and item. If no open quotation exists, the last quotation regardless of WIN/LOSS is displayed. The panel value for OPEN/PRINTED/SELECTED/WIN/LOSS is displayed next to the quotation number. These fields are not displayed when this program is called from the quotation line maintenance program.
- VAT %
- Displays the VAT percentage according to what is displayed in the VAT handl cd field. The value is retrieved from the Percentage table. If no customer was entered in the Customer field, this field will be blank.
- Q net price
- Displays the net price in system currency from the quotation line with the same customer and item.
- VAT handl cd
- Displays the VAT handling code. The code is retrieved according to the customer’s warehouse and country information. The VAT handling code is applied to the sales price. In the maintenance routine, you may change this code. The order line value will then be recalculated by the system.
Note:If a VAT handling code is displayed on order header level it will override this value.
Note: If a sales order line is generated from a sales quotation, the VAT handling code is always retrieved to the order line, if the Get new prices field on the Copy to sales order selection panel is set to NO.
- Q prc unit
- Only displayed if the PRCUNIT (Price unit handling) function is activated in the Function control file. Displays the unit in which the quotation net price is presented. See About price unit handling for more information.
- VAT included
- Indicates if VAT is included in the sales price.
- Q quantity
- Displays the quantity from the last quotation line with the same customer and item.
- Incl VAT% cd
- Displays the VAT handling code for the VAT percentage, if any, which is included in the sales price.
Customer service enquiry, SMS agreements (DMR12211)
This panel displays the SMS agreements that are valid for the entered item/customer. The Rebate total field displays the total SMS rebate for the selected agreements. The selected SMS agreements are indicated in the Sel column.

Selection fields
- Item
- Displays the item entered on the previous panel.
- Customer
- Displays the customer entered on the previous panel.
- Rebate total
- Displays the total SMS rebate, in system currency, for the selected SMS agreements.
- Agreement
- This column heading lists the SMS agreement number and version number for all valid SMS agreements for this item/customer.
- Rebate
- This column heading lists the SMS rebate, in system currency, for the selected SMS agreements.
- Selected
- This column heading lists the code for YES for those SMS agreements that are selected. Selected SMS agreements are included in the total SMS rebate.
- Description
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, lists the descriptions of the SMS agreements.
- Rebate payer
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, lists the rebate payers of the SMS agreements.
- Prf
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, is set to YES if the SMS agreement is defined as a preferred agreement.
- Ot
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, is set to YES if the SMS agreement is defined as an on top agreement.
- Oo
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, is set to YES if the SMS agreement is defined as a one-off agreement.
- Cd
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, is set to YES if the SMS agreement handles discount claims.
- Discount
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, lists the discount code that will apply for the discount claim. These codes come from the Work with Sales pricing methods file, Limit codes table or Sales discount ID table. If multiple discounts exist, the code for multiple will displayed.
- F
- Indicates the FOC item line code of the FOC item.
Code Description Blank Normal line (no FOC items involved). 1 Baseline for FOC item lines. 2 Dependent FOC item line.
- Selected
- This column heading, displayed after clicking Shift info, indicates if this SMS rebate is selected to be a part of the rebate total for the item/customer.
Customer service enquiry, SMS agreements (DMR12214)
This panel displays the details for the SMS agreements.
- Item
- Displays the item for the agreement.
- Customer
- Displays the customer for the agreement.
- Rebate total
- Displays the total SMS rebate, in system currency, for the selected SMS agreements.
- Agreement
- Displays the agreement code and description.
- Rebate payer
- Displays the rebate payer from whom the rebate total can be claimed.
- Preferred agreement
- Indicates if the agreement is a preferred agreement.
- One-off agreement
- Indicates if the agreement is a one-off agreement.
- On top agreement
- Indicates if the agreement is an on top agreement.
- Original cost base
- This field is only valid for On top agreements. It is set to YES if the rebate percentage was applied to the original cost base (amount). It is set to NO if the rebate from previously applied agreements reduced the cost base amount before the rebate for this on top agreement was calculated and applied.
- Affect mark-up base
- Indicates if the rebate amount should affect the mark-up base before the mark-up sales price is calculated.
- Selected
- Indicates if this SMS rebate is selected to be a part of the rebate total for the item/customer.
- Keys
- Displays the keys codes for the SMS agreement header and the key values for the SMS agreement detail.
- Order currency
- Displays the order currency for the SMS agreement detail.
- Sales unit
- Displays the sales unit for the SMS agreement detail.
- Cost basis
- Displays the defined cost basis for the SMS agreement detail.
- Calculated cost basis
- Displays the cost basis calculated into system currency and stock unit. This is the cost that is used as a base when the rebate price is calculated.
- Percentage
- Displays the percentage (if any) that is used in the SMS rebate calculation.
- Fixed cost
- Displays the fixed cost (if any) that is used in the SMS rebate calculation.
- Fixed rebate
- Displays the fixed rebate (if any) that is defined as the SMS rebate.
- Rebate
- Displays the calculated SMS rebate in system currency.
