This table comes preloaded with the following inventory contract types:
- Customer Deposit Stock (CDS)
- Supplier Consignment Stock (SCS) – applies for both “normal” SCS contract handling and Logistic SCS contract handling
- Wholesaler Consignment Stock (WCS)
- Wholesaler Deposit Stock (WDS)
- Customer Buffer Stock (CBS)
- Wholesaler Buffer Stock (WBS)
- Deferred Indent Stock (DIS)
The CMI process applicable for each inventory contract type is also preloaded per type. You must activate the inventory contract types that are relevant for your business and then connect the applicable sales order type or purchase order type that will be used for each associated CMI process.

Selection fields
- Type
- This column lists the identity of the preloaded inventory contract type.
- Description
- This column displays the description of the inventory contract type.
- Active
- This column denotes if the inventory contract type has been activated and thus ready to use in the Work with inventory contracts file.
Work with inventory contract types (DSR20004)
On this panel you activate the inventory contract types that are relevant for your business and then connect the applicable sales order type or purchase order type that will be used for each associated CMI process.

Purchase order types | Access the Work with purchase order types file. |
- Contract type
- Displays the identity of the selected inventory contract type.
- Description
- Displays the description of the selected inventory contract type.
- Active
- Set this field to YES to activate the inventory contract type if it is relevant for your business.
- CMI process
- All CMI processes that are applicable for the preloaded inventory contract type are listed.
- Order type
- Enter the sales order type or purchase order type you want to connect to the CMI process.
