This is the header panel for the Item classification profile 2 entity of the grouping structure.
You add the profile 2 codes and then select the Characteristics option to attach/detach the characteristics applicable to/from the profile 2 code. The characteristics displayed are those that have been defined in the Work with characteristics file. The profile 2 code is NOT attached to a group/main group. Items are directly attached to the profile 2.
The values for the characteristics can be:
- entered as default values, (select the Characteristics option and then the Default values option on the Work with profiles, Characteristics panel), for each characteristic. They will be retrieved when you go through the process of applying the Item classification definition to create the item
- or on the fly when applying the Item classification definition to create the item.

- This column lists the description of the Item classification profile 2 code.
Work with item classification profiles (DMR10504)
On this panel you add the profile 2 codes.
- Item classification profile 2
- The name of this field depends on what has been set up in the DIS control keys file for the Item related key that was chosen to represent the Item classification profile 2 entity (defined in the DIS control file). Enter a unique code that will identify the new record you are creating.
- Description
- Displays the description of the profile 2 code.
