Options
Check locks | Select this option to access the Work with object locks panel to check if there are any locks on the file. |
Initial load | Select this option to create triggers and load the target file for this file. This can be done from the replication set for all files that exist within the set or on individual file level on this panel. Note: If data already exists in the source file it is recommended to run this option. |
Create trigger | Select this option to create triggers for this file. This can be done from the replication set for all files that exist within the set or on individual file level on this panel. |

- Source file
- This column lists the file from where you are replicating data.
- Target file
- This column lists the file to where data is being replicated.
- Insert
- This column lists the code for YES if replication should be done when adding new records.

Work with BCF replication sets, Files (BIRD00204)
On this panel you define the parameters for the file in the replication set.
- Replication set
- Displays the replication set to which this file belongs.
- Source file
- Enter the file from where you are replicating data. If you selected the DC1 system library when creating the replication set, you will access all available DC1 files when selecting from available files. Otherwise you will access the Work with objects panel.
- Target file
- Enter the file to where data is being replicated. This does not have to be any existing file; it will automatically be created when you create triggers.
- Trigger INSERT
- Indicate if replication should be done when adding new records.
- Trigger UPDATE
- Indicate if replication should be done when records are changed.
- Trigger DELETE
- Indicate if replication should be done when records are deleted.

Work with BCF replication sets, Files, Initial load (BIRD00211)
This panel displays the files that should be replicated. The triggers will be created and the files loaded according to when you indicate that the update should start. The initial load can only be run when the file(s) is not locked. To check if any of the files are locked, you can do this on the following two levels:
- Initial load on the initial panel for the Replication set. If the Locked files field is set to YES you cannot run it. You have to drill down to file level to check which files are locked.
- Initial load directly on File level.
Note: Take the necessary steps to unlock the file.
- Replication set
- Displays the replication set and its description to which this file belongs.
- Source file
- Displays the source file.
- Target file
- Displays the target file.
- Locked
- Indicates if the file is locked.
- Start update at
- Indicate when the triggers should be created and the loading of the target files should take place and click OK. Valid values are Hour + Minute. Leave the field blank if you want it to start immediately.
