Set values for a critical success factors in DC1 Analyser

The following describes how you can set the low, high and recommended values for a CSF:

  1. Select the Critical Success Factors menu item in the Supply Chain Analysis, or Financial Analysis sub-menu.
  2. Select Factors/Manage from the menu bar on the CSF Panel window. (Note: Alternatively, Select menu item Manage Critical Success Factors icon in the All functions list).
  3. You access the Object manager – Critical Success Factors window.
  4. Note: For full details on how you create, copy and delete objects in an Object manager window, see About working with objects in DC1 Analyser.

    Do one of the following:

    • Select an existing CSF from the table list.
    • Or, create a new CSF object.
  5. You access the CSF Edit view window.
  6. If you chose to create a new CSF object, you must complete the following entry fields:

    • Code, Description and Responsible person. These are all user-defined.
    • Program and Parameter. Here you enter the name of the program returning the actual values. For more information, contact your system administrator.

    In the Values box in the CSF Edit view window, enter the Low, High and Recommended figures for the CSF.

    Tip: You can select the colour for the Low and High CSF levels if you choose Change colour. Select the colour and choose OK.

    Click Save.

    The next time you view the CSF factor, your low, high and recommended values and any colour changes will be implemented.
