This file holds the Item attribute templates, together with the user-defined field definitions and validation rules. You can create as many templates as you want, each containing up to 10 field definitions. Up to nine templates can be assigned a default sequence number which controls the default loading of the template (and consequently the associated search fields) when the user accesses Attribute search mode to search for items.

Work with item attribute templates (DIR05204)
Note: This panel can be accessed in either Maintenance or Enquiry mode. In Enquiry mode, you are only able to view the information. The panel heading differs accordingly.
If you accessed this panel via the Display option, then you will only be able to view the information. To create or update a record, return to the previous panel and select either the Add or Change option (if available).

On this panel you create a new template or maintain an existing one.

- Enter a code to identify the new item attribute template you are creating.
- Description
- Enter a description of the item attribute template.
- Default sequence
- Enter the default sequence number. This number controls the default loading of the template when the user accesses Attribute search mode to search for items.

- Displays the templates you selected to copy.
- New template
- Enter the codes for the new templates that you are creating.
