- NetStore instance
- The NetStore Frontend and BackOffice uses connections, and each connection is connected to a specific Enterprise/DC1 company. Several NetStore instances may use the same connection (you may, for example, want to experiment with the look and feel of different instances).
The BackOffice instance where you are using the Translation function is also connected to the same connection since it is irrelevant to have more than one BackOffice instance to a connection. Constant translation files are stored on each NetStore instance.
Example:
The BackOffice instance = B01.
There are two Frontend Netstore instances: NS1 and NS2.
BO1 points to a specific Enterprise/DC1 company, and NS1 and NS2 NetStore also points to the same company. In this field, select which NetStore instance you want to translate by selecting from the drop-down list. If, for example, you were translating a constant with B01 (BackOffice 1), the NS1 and NS2 will be displayed in the list.
- Locale
- Translation Language locale.
- Value
- Values of translation locale.
- Key
- This field, which is read-only, displays the corresponding key of selected Value field.
- New Value
- It allows user to enter new value of corresponding key.
Click OK.
After clicking OK, translations file in the server location, e.g. C:\NetStore\esite\NS1\NS1\config, will be updated.
