This program is used to connect business partners to a note ID. In this way, you are able to configure your system to have specific notes displayed or retrieved when an order line (either sales, service, purchase or work – depending on the note type that you previously selected to work with) is created for the connected business partners. When a request is created, and if any BPR related note exists for the business partner, then the note is attached as internal request text to the request header. A validity period via a Valid from/to date can also be defined. This allows you to determine how long any text that you want to connect, e.g., to order related transactions, will be valid.

Selection fields
- Note type
- Displays the note type you selected to work with.
- Note id
- Displays the selected note ID that you selected to connect a business partner to on the previous panel.
- Business partner
- This column lists the business partners that have been connected to this note ID.
- Name
- This column lists the business partner names.
- Valid from
- If any valid from date has been defined, this column displays the date from which the note for this note type and note ID is valid for the business partner.
- Valid to
- If any valid to date has been defined, this column displays the date to which the note for this note type and note ID is valid for the business partner.
Work with notes, Business partners (GDMD18304)
On this panel you select the business partner that you want connect to the note ID and optionally define the validity period.
- Note type
- Displays the type of note that you are working with.
- Note id
- Displays the note ID that you have selected to connect a business partner to.
- Business partner
- Enter the applicable business partner code. This field cannot be changed. Note: When creating a user defined note ID for note type TS (DSCSA Transaction statement), only business partners of type 1 (customer) are allowed.
- Valid from
- Optional entry. Enter the date from which the note for this note type and note ID will be valid for this business partner. If this field is left blank, the note will be valid immediately.
- Valid to
- Optional entry. Enter the date to which the note for this note type and note ID will be valid for this business partner.
