DIRECT JOB log maintenance (DSR9201)

Function keys

Rst DIRECT JOB for all rec Restart the direct jobs for all records in the table.

Note: This function first clears the data queues and then adds all records to the data queues.

Selection fields

DIRECT JOB log maintenance (DSR9204)

This table contains records that are to be handled by the direct job function, but for some reason this has not been done.

If a record displays ER in the Return code field, it means that the direct job function has tried to handle the record but has failed.

All records where the Return code field is blank, is waiting in the data queue to be handled by the direct job function. The direct jobs have to be started to handle the records in this table. Normally the direct jobs are started automatically when the first user signs on to the company, but you can manually start the direct jobs by selecting the Start all DIRECT JOBS in DC1 menu item from the JOBCON DIRECT JOB menu.

The table can also be used to force a transaction to be handled by the direct job function by entering the transaction manually in this table.

Note: To use this program you should be very familiar with the program structure of DC1 Distribution and the Direct job function in DC1.
